We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our dynamic team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement treatment plans to deliver precise radiation doses to defined tumor volumes, as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
- Perform complex calculations to ensure accurate dose delivery.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists to design treatment plans, including target volumes and normal tissue doses.
- Assist in quality control measures, including patient QA plans and weekly chart rounds.
- Graduate of a formal training program in medical dosimetry and board-certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB), or eligible to take the boards.
- 3+ years of experience in medical dosimetry, with a preference for candidates with prior experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan and relocation assistance.
- A competitive salary range of $110,000 to $145,000.
