Agronomy Farming Professional

Threemile Canyon Farms is a recognized leader in sustainable agriculture, combining dairy operations with conventional and organic crop farming to create a closed-loop system where nothing is wasted.
The Agronomy Intern will work with soil and plant tissue sampling, scouting for pests in potatoes, alfalfa, corn, carrots, green beans, onions, and water sampling.
Responsibilities include occasional travel to other farms and working with other crops, with on-the-job training provided.
Qualified individuals will be invited back the next season and given appropriate compensation or possibly offered a full-time position at supervisor level.
The internship will require at least 8 weeks with the option for additional internship work experience, with flexible start dates depending on the student's academic calendar.
Interns will be paid $13.20/hr and receive a $10,000 scholarship toward their education upon successful completion of the internship.
Interns will be expected to work 50+hrs/week and occasional weekend work, with housing provided depending on availability.
