Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire parts sales process from initiation to completion.
- Engage with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Effectively communicate regarding the status of customer parts.
- Interpret the parts catalog accurately when discussing specific components.
- Handle incoming calls, providing pricing information and other relevant details to customers.
- Examine body shop estimates to ensure the accuracy of ordered parts and pricing alignment.
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
- Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory while conducting weekly stock checks for accuracy.
- Alert the parts manager about out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials.
- Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and submit emergency orders when necessary.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are billed appropriately on service repair orders.
- Process payments from retail customers or obtain necessary credit approvals.
Qualifications:
- Experience with GM systems is advantageous (top compensation available).
- Familiarity with Reynolds & Reynolds software.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in auto parts sales preferred.
- Willingness to adapt and grow in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and time management abilities.
- Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts, including discounts, commissions, and percentages.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Availability to work scheduled Saturdays.
