Soliant is seeking a skilled School Social Worker to join our team in Grand Junction, CO. As a School Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing social work services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing IEP Social Work Goals: Develop and implement social work goals for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Providing Daily Group Therapy: Lead group therapy sessions for students to promote social skills, emotional regulation, and academic success.
- Communicating with Team and Families: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent support for students.
- Crisis Management Support: Provide crisis intervention and support to students in need.
- Medicaid Billing: Manage Medicaid billing and documentation for social work services.
- Service Logs: Maintain accurate records of social work services provided.
- Implementing BIP in IEP: Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for students with IEPs.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience in Schools: Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Education: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and a Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with an endorsement in Social Work are required.
