Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at KLA. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing precision mechanisms and high vacuum systems for our cutting-edge instruments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop precision mechanisms and high vacuum systems for our instruments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance and reliability requirements
- Develop and maintain design documentation and specifications
- Work with suppliers to source and procure components and materials
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and innovations
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, fabrication methods, and integration and testing
- Experience with high-precision mechanism design for precision instruments
- Proficient in 3D solid modeling using CAD, preferably ProE/Creo
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
