  • Operate various equipment including cameras, teleprompters, and provide floor direction during evening and weekend broadcasts.
  • Act as a communication bridge between the News and Engineering Departments.
  • Edit video content for weekend broadcasts.
  • Upload and manage content on the company website and across social media platforms.
  • Ensure the production studio and control room are well-maintained.
  • Execute additional tasks related to the role as assigned, which may involve website contributions and audio management.
  • Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with producers, on-air talent, and the production team.
  • Aim to uphold a high standard of production quality, with a keen focus on aesthetics, accuracy, and pacing of the show.
  • Engage in pre-show planning for special segments, offering insights and assistance with set design, lighting, and shot composition.
  • Communicate effectively with management, producers, engineering staff, and talent.
  • Respond calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, live television and multimedia situations.
  • Assist in training less experienced production personnel as necessary.
  • Exhibit a positive team-oriented attitude, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with iNews and studio operations is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational abilities, self-motivation, and a good visual sense are essential. Candidates must thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively under pressure is required.
