Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Provider to join our team as a Primary Care Physician (PCP). As a PCP at Callen-Lorde, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care, making a positive impact on the lives of our diverse patient population.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves delivering primary care services to patients in a collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Screening, diagnosing, and treating patients according to established protocols
- Providing sensitive and non-judgmental care to patients from diverse backgrounds
- Making appropriate internal and external referrals as needed
- Offering comprehensive care based on pre-arranged schedules
- Documenting care promptly and adhering to charting protocols
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- New York State Certification/Licensure according to degree (MD, NP, DO or PA)
- Current New York State Registration
- DEA Controlled Substances Registration Certificate
- CPR Certification
- Experience serving Callen-Lorde's target populations preferred
- Board certification or eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease for MDs/DOs
