Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate scrubbing machinery and equipment as needed to ensure efficient production.
  • Sort and package finished products, supporting operations as a machine operator when required.
  • Use approved solvents to remove grease, dirt, and build-up from equipment and machinery.
  • Wipe and clean oil pans, disposing of waste and press units as directed.
  • Maintain cleaning records and support in keeping equipment clean and orderly.
  • Perform minor tasks as directed by the line maintainer, ensuring the work area remains clean and organized.
  • Observe and practice company safety rules and SOPs at all times.
  • Communicate pertinent information between departments, peers, and shifts regarding changes to equipment, production schedules, or production problems.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent.
  • One to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Ability to travel for training at other manufacturing locations.
Preferred Requirements
  • Vocational or technical certification.
  • High-speed packaging industry experience.
Competencies
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Capacity to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven math and computer skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
Working Conditions
  • Work in a plant environment, with occasional movement to different parts of the manufacturing floor.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic in the plant.
  • Exposure to a wide range of temperatures.
  • Loud noise levels.
