Job Summary

Grove Bay Hospitality Group is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner.
  • Kitchen Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and prepared for service.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
