Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Grove Bay Concessions. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to our high standards, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
  • Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently
  • Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
  • Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Line Cook in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques
  • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
