Job Title: Sonographer II PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sonographer II PRN to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As a Sonographer II PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Provide care to assigned patients and ensure a safe patient care environment
  • Maintain technical skills and use equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety
  • Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment
  • Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning

Requirements:

  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiar with the majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
  • High degree of manual, critical thinking skills, and dexterity skills necessary for operation of equipment and patient care
