Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer II PRN to join our team at Rose Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment, and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment and prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Provide excellent patient care and interact positively with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel
  • Maintain technical skills and ensure patient safety
  • Assist with clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files, and general cleaning
  • Collect data for PI monitors and conduct QC on equipment
Requirements
  • Current ARDMS certification with both Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification
  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program
  • Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
  • Familiar with majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures
