We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at TireHub, LLC. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and timely customer delivery. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload tires from transport vehicles, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures.
- Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
- Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
- Complete all necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs on a regular basis.
- Participate in ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned.
- At least 1 year of general work experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 3 years of driving history.
- 19 years old or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting.
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Manifest, GPS, and Navigation systems.
