Job Summary

Management Business Solutions is seeking a skilled Healthcare Manager to lead our Utilization Management Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring cost-effective and quality patient care through appropriate resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the program.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care across the continuum.
  • Manage transportation programs to ensure appropriate resource utilization.
  • Assure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal standards.
  • Provide direction to staff regarding utilization review, care coordination, and discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in utilization management and discharge planning in an acute care setting.
  • BSN or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
  • Registered Nurse License (California).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Case Manager.
  • Master's degree in management.
  • Experience in a large hospital, high-volume setting.
