Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:


The incumbent operates under the direct oversight of the nurse manager, focusing on the clinical care of patients and ensuring the delivery of optimal individualized nursing services in a timely manner, with a strong emphasis on cost efficiency.

Please note that this position requires quarterly certification in American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) following hire. This ongoing competency must be maintained through resources available within the facility; external RQI competency resources are not acceptable for compliance with CommonSpirit Health standards.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical office, physician clinic, or OB office setting. (If operational conditions warrant and no qualified candidates are available, a combination of education, experience, and skills may be considered in lieu of the one year of experience.)

AHA BLS Certification
- Proficiency in medical terminology, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

PREFERRED:
- Two years of experience in a clinical environment.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field.
- Medical Assistant certification.
