SJS Executives LLC, a veteran-owned enterprise specializing in media blasting, industrial coatings, powder coating, and light fabrication, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Spray Painter to join our team.
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential for split shifts or late shifts based on workflow demands. Occasionally, Saturday or evening shifts may be required for special projects with tight deadlines, but the aim is to maintain a consistent 40-hour work week, with possible overtime.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this role ranges from $20 to $28, commensurate with experience and performance during an in-person evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the paint booth, ensuring proper startup and shutdown procedures.
- Mix paints according to established standards and specifications.
- Inspect and maintain applicator guns, air compressors, and related equipment for safety and functionality.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for regular preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Apply coatings to metal components at the specified thickness, monitoring equipment and gauges for optimal results.
- Communicate operational status and any issues to senior personnel regularly.
- Contribute suggestions for improving production speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Perform routine cleanup and maintenance tasks at the end of each shift.
- Complete other production-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to pass an in-person spray paint performance assessment.
- Solid understanding of various paint types and mixing techniques.
- Experience in maintaining paint guns and related equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in wet spray painting within industrial or maritime settings.
- Certification at the C12 level is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of the physical properties and mechanics of spray painting for metals.
- Strong communication skills to ensure safety and accurate technical documentation.
This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Candidates must also successfully pass a drug test and background check.
