About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Dental Hygiene Instructor to join our team at Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students and contributing to the growth and development of the dental hygiene profession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instructional Mastery: Deliver high-quality learning experiences in classrooms, labs, clinical settings, and online environments. Prepare engaging lesson plans, assess student performance, and effectively present subject matter to ignite students' passion for a dental hygiene career.
  • Student Interaction: Foster a conducive learning environment, serve as a role model for professionalism, and provide regular, constructive feedback to students. Your mentorship will guide them to excel in their academic journey.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with instructional methodologies and engage in ongoing professional development, including CEUs when required. Attend workshops and seminars to enhance your instructional and professional skills.
  • Beyond the Classroom: Contribute to our campus culture by participating in student and campus activities, assisting in maintaining classrooms, and supporting inventory organization and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of a CODA accredited program.
  • A Bachelor's degree required (in any field) with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene required.
  • Current and unencumbered dental hygiene license in state of employment.
  • Minimum of four years of clinical experience as a hygienist.
  • Current CPR certification issued by AHA.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.
  • Documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments.
  • Current knowledge of the specific subject being taught.
  • Evidence of participation in workshops, in-service training, and scholarly productivity is preferred.
