Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Mountain View, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images
  • Work independently to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient safety and confidentiality
  • May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, with varied shifts and rotating weekends. The salary range for this role is $60.81 to $76.00 per hour.
