McWane Plant and Industrial in Calera, Alabama is seeking an experienced Assembler to join our fabrication and machining operation.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling small and large valves, including parts, subassemblies, and components. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble valves and other components according to specifications
- Test and inspect products for quality
- Load and unload products from machinery
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and vibration. The ability to work in a dust and fume-filled environment is also required.
