APA Los Angeles is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a District Grant Liaison. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, administering, and monitoring transportation plans, programs, grants, and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist district planners in carrying out and complying with federal and State planning and programming procedures, laws and regulations.
  • Develop technical analysis and respond to administrative requirements.
  • Implement policies relating to the Overall Work Program (OWP), Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), Consolidated Planning Grant (CPG), State Rural Planning Assistance (RPA) funding program, and the Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Program.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Associate Transportation Planner Exam or the Transportation Planner Exam.
  • For those who do not have current eligibility, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
