Job Title: Daytime Crisis Counselor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Daytime Crisis Counselor to join our team at Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio, Inc. As a Crisis Counselor, you will provide critical support to individuals and families in crisis, helping them navigate challenging situations and develop coping strategies to achieve stability and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct crisis assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to clients, either individually or in groups
  • Collaborate with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Experience working with individuals and families in crisis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
