**Job Description:**

- Provide alcohol and drug counseling and other ancillary services to assigned inmates.
- Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning.
- Coordinate with other treatment services such as medical, mental health, education, recreation, volunteer, and community services for individualized treatment planning.
- Utilize a coordinated treatment approach.
- Monitor attendance and participation progress of inmates in substance abuse programs.
- Review case files and program participation termination.
- Provide continuing care planning.
- Intervene in crisis situations.
- Review inmate files for program admission consideration and treatment planning.
- Contact Adult Parole Authority or chemical dependency specialists concerning inmate activities.
- Develop and coordinate substance abuse programming for inmates, including those who are substance-abusing or mentally ill.
