At Methodist Hospice & Family Care, we understand that end of life care is a complex and sensitive issue. Our approach is centered around providing patients and families with compassion, empathy, and understanding. We believe that every individual deserves to live their final days with dignity, respect, and comfort. Our interdisciplinary team works together to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient. We provide regular scheduled visits and on-call support to ensure that patients receive the level of care they need, when they need it. Our goal is to provide patients with the best possible quality of life, while also supporting their loved ones through this challenging time.

Your Role as a Hospice RN
As a Hospice RN, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team. You will work closely with patients and families to understand their needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans that address their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with physician orders, recognizing standards of practice, and establishing company policies and procedures. You will also participate in coordination of hospice services, appropriately reporting the identified needs to the interdisciplinary group, including Hospice Aide, Director of Clinical Services –Hospice, and Chaplain. You will provide appropriate pain/symptom management, and work collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes.
