Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Advisory: Advise on vulnerabilities and threats, evaluate relevant intelligence, review white papers for technical feasibility and operational use, advise on developing tools, and assess test data for operational applications.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with partners to assist in development of technical tools beneficial to mission needs.
  • Risk Management: Identify technical, Cl, and operational risks and recommend mitigations.
  • Technical Feasibility: Study the feasibility and vulnerability of new technical collection capabilities and analyze gaps.
  • Emerging Technologies: Assess emerging and commercial off the shelf technologies in support of operational requirements and applications.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Assess key vulnerabilities and single points of failure and recommend mitigations.
  • Technical Compliance: Evaluate, validate, and analyze technical development compliance with stated requirements.
  • System Integration: Integrate, test, verify, and validate end-to-end systems.
  • Communications Expertise: Apply expertise of communications technologies from: Aircraft and/or maritime, Core networks, Fiber optics, Radio frequency, Satellite, and/or Wireless telecommunications networks and infrastructure to requirements.
Qualifications
  • Security Clearance: Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience providing operational engineering support to a government organization focused on bolstering the Government's intelligence advantage.
  • Education: Minimum of ten years of experience performing systems engineering services for a government customer with more than one stakeholder with a technical undergraduate degree (BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7).
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise and skills to provide technical support in one or more of a wide range of communications and RF technologies to include terrestrial and space-based RF communications, satellite systems, commercial cellular and wireless, an understanding of 5G technologies, embedded software/firmware development, fiber optics, and networks.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to apply operation methodologies to requirements.
  • Systems Engineering: Experience applying systems engineering methodologies and processes.
  • Project Management: Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
  • Feasibility Studies: Experience performing feasibility and vulnerability studies.
  • Requirements Development: Expertise in requirements development, verification and traceability.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to translate technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience.
  • Task Management: Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, work several tasks concurrently, and efficiently manage a high volume of emails, develop fluency with online tracking tools rapidly and effectively.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work independently while also coordinating, collaborating, and liaising with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with officers at all levels of the organization.
  • Initiative: Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking ability to take action to execute mission by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise.
  • Self-Starter: Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience supporting the Sponsor's technical communications.
  • Advanced Degree: Technical master's degree.
  • Language Skills: Language capabilities preferred.
