Job Summary

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our acute care setting. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing basic patient care observations and diagnostic services under the direct supervision of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), and/or Nurse Management Member.

Responsibilities

* Perform basic patient care observations and diagnostic services for the unit-specific patient population within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures.
* Work under the direct supervision of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Registered Nurse (RN), and/or Nurse Management Member.
* Support the hospital's strategic plan and quality improvement process and activities.

Qualifications

* Three (3) months experience performing ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) in a healthcare facility, including but not limited to home health, hospice, SNF, Rehab, and acute care.
* Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificate required.
* Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA) certificate preferred.
