Summary:

In this role, reporting directly to the Operating Group Vice-President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sales and service strategies, operational budgets, and marketing initiatives aimed at business growth while leading inside staff and operations. This position encompasses strategic planning, personnel management, and process enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, managing all facets of business processes.
  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service, support, and technical expertise are consistently available, reinforcing our position as the market leader.
  • Develop and optimize business practices to enhance performance, elevate quality, and ensure safe operations both at the facility and in the field.
  • Formulate and implement operational strategies to stimulate growth for products and services.
  • Collaborate with the VP to create the annual sales budget, aligning it with the organizational strategic direction and annual objectives.
  • Establish goals for team members, communicate expectations clearly, and monitor performance through company-wide systems such as performance and talent management.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment among sales, customer service, finance, and service teams.
  • Work with sales to identify and capitalize on sales and profit opportunities.
  • Manage and align service resources to meet client needs while exceeding company objectives.
  • Enhance employee capabilities through challenging assignments and coaching.
  • Promote the effective use of tools such as Pricing, FSM/CRM, and Flow 360 across all IFC brands.
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams to improve proprietary business tools and systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of building successful teams.
  • Exceptional decision-making and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, perform under pressure, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Familiarity with general business software and a capacity to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading, developing, and coaching both outside and inside sales teams, with a deep understanding of distribution and its market value proposition.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring and developing high-performance sales teams and fostering lasting relationships with customers and key suppliers to enhance market share and profitability.
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit with an established network of contacts.
  • Experience in both high-volume transaction selling and longer-cycle solution selling.
  • Proficient technical skills, including familiarity with CRM software solutions.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position includes direct supervisory responsibilities for inside and operational teams.
