Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lancaster General Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and within the auspices of the licensure.
  • Assist in gathering relevant patient information pertinent for the nursing assessment and assist the RN in developing and modifying the plan of care.
  • Organize and implement designated nursing interventions and basic patient hygiene and comfort measures.
  • Assist physicians with implementing the medical treatment regime.
  • Evaluate and report to the RN the status of, and changes in the patient's condition.
  • Document pertinent information and nursing actions and outcomes in the medical record.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, issued by a program for practical nursing accredited by the PA State Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • One (1) year of hospital/clinical experience preferred.
