Job Overview

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead the Facilities team at Phoebe Berks, a 284-resident Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Wernersville, PA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and guiding multiple contracted services to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.

This role will oversee Engineering (POM), Environmental Services, Linen Distribution, Security, and Shuttle Transportation. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with experience in healthcare and a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage client and community relationships, assessing operations and developing plans to drive employee and customer satisfaction.
  • Build, develop, and lead a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
  • Recommend methods, resources, and implementation for service improvement and growth, based on operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
  • Partner with Finance to manage budgets and operational reports, with a focus on optimizing financial performance and operational productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes, maintaining associated records and reports.
  • Maintain Aramark's standards of operation, including safety standards and the Business Conduct Policy.

Additional Responsibilities:

? Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders for MEP, HVAC, boilers, and chillers, ensuring effective execution of all department strategies and initiatives.

? Foster a culture of safety excellence, demonstrating behaviors that drive a Safety-FIRST core value and empowering team members to achieve a work environment without exposures and incidents.

? Create a great employee work environment, inspiring teamwork and partnership at all levels, internally and externally.

? Serve as a visible servant leader, leading from the heart to serve, encourage, support, and lift others up, while role-modeling the Aramark Mission.

? Maintain and use capital equipment efficiently, driving operational efficiencies, labor/scheduling productivity, and ensuring compliance with all contract obligations.
