Micro Assembly Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Micro Assembly Specialist to join our team at Creation Technologies. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards, electronic components, subassemblies, or systems using a variety of materials, tools, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reads and performs assigned tasks in accordance with manufacturing process instructions (MPIs), production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions.
- Performs assigned work within defined labor standards, stated production schedules, and corporate quality goals.
- Follows proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all times and is knowledgeable of and performs job in accordance with proper material handling procedures and guidelines.
- Performs complex tasks in accordance with manufacturing process instructions (MPIs), production drawings, customer provided documentation, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions.
- Performs essential complex assembly tasks, using power de-paneling and lead trimming equipment, pneumatic power tools, and automated wash equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 7 years' experience in advanced micro assembly work and/or rework
- Component identification skills for both PTH and SMT components, including polarity
- Familiarity with use of calibrated tools used for assembly, measurement, and verification
- Soldering skills to perform all plated through-hole tasks and basic installation or touch up of surface mount components
