Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor with Staffing Support Specialists, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our plant. This includes ensuring schedules are met for customers, working closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules and commitments, and coordinating with the Maintenance Department for equipment repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure plant operations are running efficiently and safely
• Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules and commitments
• Coordinate with Maintenance Department for equipment repairs
• Document and report all equipment issues to the Plant manager
• Conduct semi-annual employee reviews for all team members
• Provide training, coaching, and disciplinary actions for all team members
• Maintain documentation of training for employees
• Conduct start-up of new equipment and record all training documents needed
• Manage inter-shift meetings and participate in plant walk-throughs
• Communicate lead times to CSR department and customers
• Maintain and strengthen employee morale through servant leadership philosophy
• Provide constructive recommendations for overall improvements in safety, quality, and productivity standards of performance
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years in heat treating
• 2+ years prior management/leadership experience
• Understanding in Bluestreak and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and/or previous experience of 6S
• Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
• Knowledge of plant equipment and procedures
• Basic math and computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to motivate and encourage a team
• Excellent public speaking skills
• Humble and approachable
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 25lb regularly
• Able to work effectively and productively in hot environment
