**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team in Occupational Medicine. This is a PRN position that offers a rewarding work environment and the opportunity to establish close relationships with the people you treat.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Conduct pre-placement physical examinations for new hires to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Provide medical assessments and health services to employees who become ill or injured at work, including medical evaluations and health services
• Conduct return to work assessments to ensure fitness for duty and a safe workplace environment
• Perform fitness for duty evaluations to determine an employee's ability to perform their job duties safely
• Assist with coordination of care, physician referrals, and transitional duty programs to ensure seamless care for employees
• Review and sign medical records, including EKG, pulmonary function tests, visual exams, and lab tests to ensure accurate and complete documentation
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned to support the team and deliver high-quality care
**Requirements:**
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program
• National Board Certification
• Current state-level Medical license in good standing
• Previous experience practicing in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine is desirable
