Medical Support Specialist

At the Occupational Medical Clinic of Tacoma, we are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care and support our medical team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes, setting up medical equipment, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures, including cleaning instruments and equipment after use.
- Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs and providing accurate information.
- Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties with precision and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant Credential with Washington State DOH.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
