Client Support Specialist

The Client Support Specialist delivers assistance to Sabert's clientele regarding the procurement and distribution of products. This role involves providing support and guidance to brokers, regional sales managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the fulfillment of established corporate and departmental objectives, including leading the sector in Overall Client Satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, process, and confirm the accuracy of orders from clients/brokers/regional sales managers using the company's mainframe system and customer purchase orders.
  • Initiate necessary actions in response to client service inquiries for order modifications, including timely updates to order information files.
  • Communicate modifications to relevant personnel.
  • Handle inquiries (written/telephone/fax) and resolve a variety of order-related concerns regarding products, distributors, or fundamental marketing issues.
  • Utilize a computer workstation and provide management with data for inclusion in various reports.
  • Assist in the development and recommendation of enhancements to existing methods and systems to boost the accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness of the Client Support Department.
  • Provide backup assistance to other team members as required.
  • Support brokers/regional sales managers/quality staff in resolving client complaints.
  • Maintain precise client records.
  • Establish and sustain direct, ongoing relationships with clients/brokers/regional sales managers, as well as intra- and inter-departmental connections.
  • Encourage communication and strong relationships with all members of the Sabert Corporation business team.
  • Take ownership of assigned territory responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the creation of new policies and procedures aimed at enhancing daily workflow efficiency.
  • Offer support to other departments with special projects as deemed necessary.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing in achieving their objectives of improving service to our clients or prospective clients by communicating promotional elements or new Sales/Marketing strategies.
  • Ensure proper execution of any other projects or duties as requested/assigned by management.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, starting as a temporary full-time position with the potential to transition to a regular permanent full-time role.
  • Strong telephone skills; capable of projecting a positive and professional image in verbal and written communications.
  • Excellent decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook; demonstrated skills in the use of Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
Background and Experience

Education
  • BS/BA in business or a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • Preferred customer service experience in a business-to-business or manufacturing environment.
