Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to lead our survey division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving business growth. Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the survey division, including managing a team of surveyors, engineers, and technicians. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and approving survey plans, conducting boundary checks, and collaborating with external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Additionally, they will be required to prepare proposals, manage client communications, and contribute to business development efforts to drive growth within the survey division.

Requirements:
  • A strong background in land surveying, preferably with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • A valid Pennsylvania PLS license, with New Jersey licensure highly preferred, and additional state licenses a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team of professionals.
  • A strong business orientation, with experience in proposal writing, client interaction, and project management.
  • Proficiency in survey software and technology, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GPS/GIS equipment.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team, with experience managing single-person field crews.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
