Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Colorist to join our team at Madison Reed Hair Color Bar. As a Colorist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch hair color services to our clients, ensuring they leave our salon feeling confident and beautiful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized consultations and color services to clients, including permanent hair color, roots only, hair gloss, highlights, and blowout services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a positive and cooperative approach towards teammates and valuing their ideas and insights to expand the positive experience for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Madison Reed products and service offerings, demonstrating a drive to learn and grow your career within the company.
  • Build service orders through additional services, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, home hair care, and more, increasing your earning potential and HCB revenue targets.
  • Work a variety of shifts to support business initiatives, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
  • A Cosmetology/Hairdressing license is required, with 1+ year of experience within a salon environment.
  • Possess a high attention to detail, outstanding organization, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy mindset and comfortability operating POS systems is highly desired.
