About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care in the surgical suite, working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups as needed.
  • Prepare and move patients, and clean the OR theater, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Prepare specimens for analysis, maintaining accurate records and following established protocols.
Unit Details

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a high volume of procedures. You will be working with a diverse patient population, including pediatric and adult patients, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of surgical specialties.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of current Surgical Tech experience, with a strong background in Ortho, Urology, Vascular, and General Surgery.
  • Highly comfortable and proficient in these service lines, with prior travel experience highly preferred.
  • NBSTSA certification and BLS (AHA) certification required.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a guarantee of 36 hours per week for 48-hour schedules, with overtime billed after 48 hours. We also offer a non-billable orientation of 8 hours, and holiday, OT, and call-back multipliers of 1.25%. Travelers must be available for call coverage on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, and must be highly comfortable and proficient in the service lines mentioned above.
