Job Summary:

As a Surgical Technologist at Della Infotech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team in Glens Falls, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, including setting up and inventorying equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care, from preparation to recovery.
  • Participate in the preparation and movement of patients, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the operating room.
  • Prepare specimens for analysis and assist with other tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of current Surgical Tech experience, with a strong background in Orthopedic, Urology, Vascular, and General Surgery.
  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
  • NBSTSA equivalent certificates accepted.

  • Patient population: Pediatric-Adult.
  • EMR: Cerner.
  • Operating Rooms: 16 rooms with coverage in Labor & Delivery for C-sections.
  • Types of procedures: Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Thoracic, Vascular, General, and Gynecology.
  • Average procedures per day: 50.

Travel Requirements:
  • Must be available for call coverage on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
  • RTO during these holidays will not be approved.
