Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Elite DNA Behavioral Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality therapy and psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for providing patient-centered therapy interventions, developing and implementing clinical procedures, and collaborating with the treatment team to provide the best care to patients. You will also assist in supervising Care Coordinators, provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, and advocate for patients' access to community resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-centered therapy interventions with an emphasis on patient involvement as an integral part of the treatment team.
  • Develop and implement clinical procedures and guidelines, as needed.
  • Assist in supervising Care Coordinators during initial intakes.
  • Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide the best care to patients.
  • Use multiple interventions such as group, individual, and family therapy to assist patients in meeting their identified goals.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity issues in the assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Actively monitor patient progress towards goals and addresses termination/discharge related issues, providing outside referrals at discharge/termination, as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
