Job Title: Home Care Scheduler

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Home Care Scheduler to join our team at Interim HealthCare - Sioux Falls, SD.

Job Summary:

The Home Care Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling care professionals for home care or staffing assignments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local government laws and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receives referral calls, documents intake for client services, and schedules care professionals for home care or staffing assignments.
  • Oversees all phases of the selection process, including posting, screening, interviewing, negotiating initial offers, and orienting new employees.
  • Builds relationships with clients and field staff, actively manages available field staff to maximize hours worked, and coordinates, supervises, and evaluates paraprofessional field staff.
  • Assists in payroll and billing functions as needed, conducts home visits, and supervises collection and distribution of mail.
  • Follows policies and procedures as directed, works with supervisor and other team members towards office and business goals, and takes appropriate and timely measures to meet the needs of the customer and employees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience that includes staff supervision, recruiting, and hiring, preferred not required.
  • Leadership experience with groups or teams, knowledge of seniors, and documented experience in working with them.
