Key Responsibilities

  • Review foreclosure-related motions, including foreclosure complaints, orders of reference, and judgments
  • Attend hearing and mediation appearances
  • Prepare analysis of cases and advise clients regarding legal strategies
  • Draft court pleadings, status letters, denial letters, and written requests
  • Collaborate with supervising foreclosure attorneys, business units, and per diem appearance counsel
  • Provide legal directives for clients on behalf of the firm
  • Directly manage escalated cases, including the management of client systems
  • Coordinate bank rep and client appearances

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Member of the New York Bar, with all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, with a preference for remote work
  • Ability to meet a 1920-hour billable requirement
