About the Role

The Medical Records Specialist is responsible for processing and organizing medical records in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies. You will ensure the completeness of the record by auditing charts and completing a medical records checklist.

  • Chart Completion: Review and complete medical charts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Operative Reports: Manage operative reports and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures.
  • Medical Record Requests: Handle requests for medical records and ensure timely delivery.
  • Record Storage and Retention: Store and retain medical records according to company policies and procedures.
