Surgical Care Coordinator Leader

We are seeking an exceptional Surgical Care Coordinator Leader to join our team at Albany Medical Center.
Job SummaryThe Surgical Care Coordinator Leader performs coordination, planning, and administrative management duties in collaboration with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division. This role requires effective leadership and mentoring skills to facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinates and plans administrative tasks, including financial and operational duties
- Mentors professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care
- Facilitates patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay
- Provides leadership for direct patient care provided by specialty nursing unit staff on the assigned primary shift of work
- Assures competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive salary: $ $93,000 - $105,000 per year, based on experience
