The Field Services Team represents the face of Mercury Broadband, embodying professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction. Team members are expected to adhere to installation protocols and safety standards while being attentive to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install broadband equipment at customer locations.
  • Set up broadband business and VoIP systems.
  • Engage with customers professionally and represent the company positively.
  • Configure and connect customer devices to the Mercury Network.
  • Troubleshoot customer equipment and network issues.
  • Manage assigned company vehicle, ensuring maintenance and inspections are completed.
  • Oversee company tools and maintain inventory through inspection forms.
  • Complete and close out assigned work orders efficiently.
  • Assist in training junior technicians.
  • Support sales initiatives through localized marketing efforts.
  • Identify potential business leads through site surveys.
  • Maintain a high level of technical efficiency.
  • Achieve certification through training programs.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with cabling procedures for residential and commercial installations.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including elevated and confined spaces.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
  • Proficient in computer usage and basic networking concepts.
  • Ability to use software applications for equipment programming and diagnostics.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or equivalent.
  • First Aid/CPR certification and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.
Training Provided
  • Safety training and OSHA certifications.
  • Hands-on installation and equipment training.
  • Networking concepts and VoIP training.
