Clinical Psychologist

Under the supervision of the Program Manager and the general supervision of the Program Unit Chief, this position evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a wide range of psychosocial problems. The goal is to assist patients and their families in resolving personal and environmental issues caused by psychiatric issues that prevent them from achieving their highest level of psychosocial functioning.
Key Responsibilities :
Education and Licensure :
Master's Degree or above required. Independent licensure preferred.
Experience :
Experience in a psychiatric setting is required. Training and experience in relation to the population served is necessary, particularly in specialty areas such as Substance, DBT, or ACT. Continuing education and in-services in these areas will be required.
Special Qualifications :
Interest and commitment to the programs at Butler Hospital and the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown. Ability to tolerate the stress of multiple demands in a fast-paced environment and work with a multi-disciplinary staff and challenging patient population.
Work Schedule :
40/80 Full Time Days, Monday through Friday.
