As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping our software development strategy and ensuring that our software experiences meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

**Job Description:**

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining products
  • Takes full-stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code
  • Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability, and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs

**Basic Qualifications:*

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to six years of relevant experience

**Preferred Skills/Experience:**

  • Hands-on experience with HOGAN CAMS, Mainframe Cobol, JCL, IMS DB2, MQ, and VSAM development
  • Strong skills in Endevor, FileManager, EZTRIEVE, and TSO Development
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Good understanding of third-party dependency management and transitive dependency issues
  • Strong knowledge of IMS database
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with implementation and release management activities
  • Good understanding of unit/system and functional testing methodologies
  • Experience working in large transaction-based systems
  • Experience writing technical designs
  • Experience documenting technical functions

**Salary Range:** $119,765.00 - $140,900.00 - $154,990.00
