About the Job

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $53,450.16 - $68,224.32 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians, taking into account any allergies or sensitivities.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment, including medication administration, vital signs, and laboratory results.
  3. Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication.
  4. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as a Vocational Nurse issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
  • Experience providing patient care in a healthcare setting, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.
  • A certification in accordance with American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program.
Working Conditions
