  • Evaluates and reports on production and quality metrics.
  • Monitors the production environment to ensure safe manufacturing practices.
  • Leads weekly safety discussions with staff.
  • Conducts monthly safety assessments within the department.
  • Documents incidents and follows up on employee injury statuses and working conditions.
  • Provides ongoing feedback regarding employee performance and conducts annual performance evaluations.
  • Identifies potential workplace hazards.
  • Must be adaptable to work across various company departments as needed.
  • Should be willing to take on additional responsibilities as required by the department.

Qualifications Required:

  • A college degree in a relevant field or seven years of supervisory experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent education and experience.
  • At least three years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate a forklift, use measuring tools, and navigate the company’s computer systems.
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications (MS Word and Excel) and SAP.
  • Ability to lead and engage effectively with all management levels.
  • Must pass a forklift operation and background assessment to qualify as an authorized forklift operator.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime, is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Physical Demands:

Must be capable of occasionally lifting weights between 25 to 50 pounds to waist height. When training new hires, may need to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for 8 to 10 hours daily in a manufacturing and warehouse setting. Proper protective equipment must be worn as required.
