Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist - CT Scan to join our team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly and safely for imaging procedures.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal imaging performance.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
  • 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens CT scanners.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule

Availability required 2 out of 3 holidays. Schedule to include every other weekend.
