Radiologic Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Concentra. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients by performing routine x-ray examinations and supporting medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting them to dressing and x-ray rooms and providing verbal and written instructions.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during x-ray exams by explaining procedures and observing patients.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and team members.
  • Maintain radiologic equipment, including calibration and record-keeping, in accordance with current policies and procedures.
Medical Assistant Duties:
  • Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
  • Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing ancillary testing.
  • Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
  • Responsible for performing routine medical procedures as ordered by treating clinicians.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
