Position Summary:

The Mixologist is responsible for delivering prompt, precise, and friendly service while crafting top-notch beverages for guests at the restaurant bar or rooftop bar. This role emphasizes service during dinner hours within the dining establishment and lounge area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers exceptional service at the bar by mixing drinks according to established recipes.
  • Receives and processes orders from guests and waitstaff.
  • Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages, cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks as requested.
  • Ensures that garnishes and other ingredients are prepped before the bar opens.
  • Adheres to all sanitation protocols.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Displays glasses and liquor bottles in an appealing manner.
  • Responsible for selling beverages with the customer's best interests in mind.
  • Verifies that patrons are of legal drinking age by checking identification.
  • Handles financial transactions for drinks served.
  • Exhibits sound judgment and, when necessary, denies service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.
  • Orders or creates requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar supplies.
  • Confirms that all guests are at least 21 years old.
